1. Data Protection (General)

Data provided by the user in their profile, including all uploaded photos/images, are NOT visible externally or to non-logged-in/non-verified users.

To fulfill the legal requirements for youth protection, BareLust must handle personal information. This includes requesting and storing such data, which in detail are:

• A copy of an identification document for age verification in the case of users whose age cannot be estimated to be over 18 years.
• The user's email address for authentication during each use.
• The email addresses are used EXCLUSIVELY for authentication. Disclosure to third parties is excluded.
• BareLust offers the exchange of messages between users. In the case of legally relevant message content, the operator of BareLust agrees to store all messages for at least 6 months. Even if the sender and recipient "delete" messages for display, messages marked as deleted are only permanently deleted from the server after 6 months. Moderators do not have access to the message traffic between other users.
• The rights to uploaded photos/images remain with the user. If a user deletes their images, this happens immediately.
• If the user decides to delete their profile including all their data (messages, uploaded photos/images, etc.), the user is no longer visible to others in the community area. However, their data is only permanently deleted from the server after a period of 6 months from deletion.

Email Address and Password

The email address is stored on the server encrypted with the password; only a cryptographic code of the password. Not even the site operator can decrypt your password.

Up to 3 months after deletion of your profile.

If you do not agree with this, you can request deletion via email to info@barelust.net.

Your Online Session Data

They are stored unencrypted in the database.

You can see at any time which session data is stored and processed. When you go offline, they are parked in the database until the next login. The session data is only deleted when your profile is deleted.

Your Ads / Forum Posts / Escort Listings / Club Listings / Polls

They are stored unencrypted in the database. Files, such as images, will be covered in the next section.

Until you delete them. At the latest, when you delete your profile. Deletion then occurs immediately.

Images / Photos

They are stored unencrypted on the server.

Until you delete them. At the latest, when you delete your profile. Deletion then occurs immediately.

Your Profile Data

They are stored in the database.

Until you delete your profile. Deletion then occurs immediately. After 365 days of non-use, your profile will be deleted automatically.

Your Locations / Trips

They are stored unencrypted in the database.

Until you delete them. Deletion then occurs immediately.

Messages with Other Users

They are stored unencrypted in the database.

Until both the sender and the recipient of a message mark it as deleted. Deletion then occurs immediately. Read, unsaved messages are automatically deleted after 21 days. Unread messages are automatically deleted after 90 days.

Favorites and Blocked Users

They are stored unencrypted in the database.

Until you delete them. Deletion then occurs immediately.

Your Search Filters and Quick Searches

They are stored unencrypted in the database.

Until you delete them. Deletion then occurs immediately.

Your Emails to the Registered Mailboxes of BareLust

These mailboxes are private email mailboxes. Forwarding to third parties does not take place.

Deletion occurs upon resolution of the issue and expiration of the statutory retention period, if applicable.

Who Has Access to Your Data?

All user interactions that you perform (e.g., sending messages, saving and blocking users) are only visible to the user with whom you are interacting.

Your public images, videos, timeline posts, and forum posts are visible to all users who can open your profile. However, visibility can be restricted when creating the post.

Admins and Moderators can see all your images, including your private ones.

The site operator theoretically has access to all data. However, it contradicts their ethics and interest to inspect data that was not intended for them (e.g., spying on exchanged messages).

For many entries in the profile (especially health data), visibility can be restricted.

The transmission of all data is done using current SSL certificates.

Outside the protected user area, no data is visible.

Disclosure to Third Parties? NO! Not for advertising purposes or any other reason.

Your data will under no circumstances be passed on to third parties.

3. Data Protection Declaration for Google Maps by Google Inc.

This website uses the "Google Maps and Route Planner" function of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google") to display and calculate geographic information and routes. Through Google Maps, data about your use of this website may be transmitted to, collected by, and used by Google. You can prevent such data transmission by disabling "Javascript" in your browser. In this case, however, no maps can be displayed. By using this website and not disabling "Javascript", you declare your consent that you agree to the processing of your data by Google for the aforementioned purpose. Further information on how "Google Maps" and the route planner use your data, as well as Google's data protection declaration, can be found at:

4. Cookies

The pages of BareLust use cookies, see the wiki article about cookies, to improve the user experience. According to the EU Cookie Directive & § 15 Para. 3 of the German Telemedia Act (TMG), it is necessary to display a specific message to users upon their first visit to a page if the page uses cookies.

What data is stored in BareLust's cookies?

• Session variables that ensure that the same user who logged in using their email address and password accesses the content. This is necessary to fulfill the youth protection conditions.
• Layout-sensitive settings that the user has set, such as their preferred language for the pages.
• Automatically collected data regarding error messages that the user can report to improve support.
